Doctorate of Physical
Therapy – University of Puget Sound, 2008
Memberships: American Physical Therapy Association

Chad received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy
in 2008 from the University of Puget Sound. He
also completed a Bachelor of Science in Exercise
Science at the University of Puget Sound in 2005.
He is a member of the American Physical Therapy
Association and the Washington State Physical
Therapy Association. Chad is working toward becoming
a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Future career goals include completing both and
Orthopedic Clinical Specialty and a Sports Clinical
Specialty.
With the goal of efficient, normal joint motion,
Chad works hard to assess and treat musculoskeletal
injuries to improve strength, pain-free motion,
power, agility and endurance. He not only focuses
on short-term improvement, but also long-term
prevention to insure that patients can return
to sport and daily life with limited risk of future
complications.
Chad’s special areas of interest in physical therapy
are working with young athletes to help heal both
major and minor injuries so that they can return
to sport as quickly as possible. He also enjoys
working with the foot and ankles because he knows
that injuries to this area can make daily activities
particularly difficult. Finally, he is excited
about assessing and treating major traumas in
order to provide an optimal outcome, through restoration
or compensation, so that an individual can return
to full, uninhibited activity. |
