Paul Drumheller, MPT, OCS, CSCS

Paul has dedicated his career to determining what’s best for his patients to keep them moving in the right direction. He aims to treat the cause of their problems, not just the symptoms.

Serving Tacoma area residents since 1994, Paul has treated every part of the body. But lower extremity injuries – including the foot and ankle – are his specialty. The foot and ankle influence the rest of the body, from posture to performance. A videotaped gait analysis may be used for diagnostic purposes. Paul is also qualified to evaluate and cast for custom orthotics when warranted.

Sports are Paul’s passion. He treats everyone like an athlete. The pros have to move faster and with more force, but Paul helps us amateurs move more efficiently and avoid injury. He is certified by the Titleist Performance Institute and working with local teaching pros to help golfers put together a better swing and play without pain. He fits cyclists to their bikes so they can ride without developing chronic pain. And Paul performs speed and agility training for elementary- to college-age athletes in summer camps and individual settings.

Paul also works with corporate safety divisions to develop stretching and exercise programs to minimize work-related injuries. He has a background in construction, and he knows what it takes to get his patients back to work.

Paul stays current in the latest research. He believes educating his patients about their condition is a critical part of rehabilitation. As the clinic owner, he is committed to ensuring that every patient’s visit to 3Dimensional Physical Therapy & Sports Conditioning is rewarding.

Whether you’re 5 or 75, athletic or sedentary, Paul will take the time to figure out what is best for you.

Paul is a licensed physical therapist, a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist, a certified strength and conditioning specialist, a certified Titleist Performance Institute medical professional and an American Red Cross first responder. He earned a master’s in physical therapy in 1994 from the University of Puget Sound and a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise physiology in 1991 from the University of California at Davis.
