Titleist Golf Fitness Instruction: Certified through the Titleist Performance Institute, this program screens you for any functional limitations (mobility or stability) that can effect your golf swing. You will develop poor movement patterns to compensate for your physical deficits. This usually results in a poor kinematic sequence which will lead to injury. Playing golf should not cause pain. We will address the limitations with Titleist approved exercises that have been shown to improve swing efficiency, distance, accuracy, and ultimately lower your overall score.

Tired of sore feet or other body parts when you run or play your favorite sport?  How about walking or at work?  A biomechanical lower extremity assessment might be what’s right for you.  This includes a physical assessment of the relationship of your muscles, bones and joints of your hips, spine, knees and feet.  It also includes a videotaped walking and running analysis that is used to provide you with specific stretches and/or exercises, and a shoe and/or orthotics recommendation.

Cost for this service: $75 (Insurance will usually cover this cost with doctor's referral)

Are you getting bored with your current exercise program?  Do you feel the need to start an exercise program but not sure what to do?  Let our Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, NSCA) design a program for you to meet your goals.  It doesn’t matter whether you’re 5 or 95, athletic or sedentary, we will take the time to figure out what is best for you.

DOES YOUR BIKE FIT YOU?

Common areas of discomfort include: buttocks, hands, back of neck,
low back, knees, and feet.

Most of these can be minimized by a properly fitted bike.

Paul Drumheller from 3Dimensional Physical Therapy and Sports Conditioning
has ridden the Courage Classic 9 times as well as other locally supported rides and knows the importance of a properly fitted bike.

Basic service includes: the assessment of seat position,
handlebars, stem, brake lever, and foot/cleat position;
and how each relates to you.

Additional services include:
•spin scan analysis on a CompuTrainer*
•balance evaluation and training exercises
•bike exercises and/or rollers fitness
•power testing with the use of CompuTrainer
•video motion analysis of pedal stroke
•strengthening exercise program

*This will determine if you are pedaling effectively or if one leg is working harder than the other,
either of which could be a cause of your pain.

Cost of Basic Services: $60 per session (Most insurance companies will cover the cost of this service with a doctor's prescription)

CompuTrainer Cycling Assessment

The CompuTrainer is the ultimate in indoor cycle training. It will provide you with several factors, such as analyzing your pedal stroke and power output, which your cycle’s computer will not tell you. The SpinScan pedal stroke analyzer will inform you of any differences between your right and left leg power and identify what you need to work on to become more efficient and powerful.
You will use your own bike to race against the computer or you can race against your previous performance. There are enough pre-programmed courses to keep you busy all season.
3Dimensional Physical Therapy wants to be your testing center. We will perform an anaerobic power test at the start of your training and re-test four to six weeks later to determine if you are meeting your training expectations.
